Elizabeth J. Berger

Elizabeth "Bettie" J. Berger, Age 76, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010 UHHS Geauga Regional Hospital in Claridon Township. Born February 15, 1933 in Painesville, Ohio to Elizabeth (Lefelhocz) & Joseph Merchak she married Donald Berger in Fairport, Ohio on September 15, 1956. Bettie was a secretary at Bank One for 18 years. She was a Graduate of Andrews School of Girls. She was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church volunteering as a Lay Minister and PSR Teacher. She enjoyed sewing and reading. She is survived by Son, Thomas (Rachel) Berger of Mentor, OH; Daughters, Nancy (Chuck) Coulson of Concord, OH, Eileen (Robert) Angeloni of Landenberg, PA & Ann (Michael) Spence of Madison, OH; Grandsons, Robert & Nicholas; Sisters, Ann Koren of Lake Havasu, AZ & Bertha Katona of Mentor, OH. She was preceded in death by Husband, Donald Berger; Parents; Sister, Irene Radcliffe & Brother, Joseph Merchak, Jr. Friends will be received 2-4:00 pm & 6-8:00 pm, Thursday, January 28, 2010, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Friday, January 29, 2010, at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Road, Madison with Rev. Sean Donnelly officiating. Final Resting Place will be at North Madison Cemetery in Madison.
