Eleanore R. Jirousek,74,of Thompson, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at home. Born March 11, 1935 in Cleveland to Dolores (Mitchell) & Edward Joseph Albl , she married Joseph Jirousek on October 7, 1961 at St. Joseph?s Church in Cleveland. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick?s Catholic Church. She helped her husband with NERC Pigeon Racing Club. Enjoyed supporting her grandchildren in their sporting events. She was a fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians and she enjoyed spending time fishing with her husband. She is survived by husband, Joseph Jirousek of Thompson; 2 Daughters, Barbara Lynn (Dwain) Raikes of Thompson, Judy Davidson of Euclid; 2 Sons, Joe (Jill) Jirousek of Thompson &John (Debbie Hess) Jirousek of Hiram, Ohio; Grandchildren, Justine Jirousek, Jannelle Jirousek, and Stephanie Jirousek; Great Grandchildren, Mackenzie & Marissa Reed, Sister, Gloria (John) Kiriakides of Greenville, SC. She was preceded in death by her Parents. Friends will be received 5-8:00 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2009 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 27, 2009, at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church, 16550 Rock Creek Road, Thompson, Ohio. Rev. Paul Smith will be officiating.
