Eleanor Landphair

Eleanor Landphair, age 93, of Geneva, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born July 2, 1927 in Thompson, the daughter of Boleslaus (Ben) and Pelegia (Pearl) Bandelewski. She married Richard Reed Landphair in Geneva on July 10, 1948.
Eleanor devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She loved tending her garden and canning fruits and vegetables during the summer. As an avid Cleveland sports fan, Eleanor rarely missed a televised game. For many years, she enjoyed spending time in Ft. Myers, Florida with her family and friends, as well as camping and fishing on Manitoulin Island in Ontario, Canada.
Eleanor was a strong and loving woman with a sharp, witty sense of humor. She was beloved by her family and will be missed every day.
She is survived by her sons, Charles (Patricia) Landphair and Alan (Carol) Landphair; and her grandchildren, Joni, Corissa, Dr. William, Amy and Trenton Landphair. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; and her daughter, Susan Landphair.
