Elaine Ruth Braunbeck

Elaine R. Braunbeck, Age 84, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Sunday, Sep. 20, 2009 at UHHS Geauga Regional Hospital in Chardon, Ohio. Born February 7, 1925 in Cleveland to Cora (Cooper) & Harry VanDyk, she married Maurice Braunbeck in Kingsville, Ohio on November 7, 1959. She was a Clerk at East Ohio Gas Company for 9-1/2 years and also worked in the office at Coca-Cola. 1943 graduate of Spencer High School. Member of Geneva First United Methodist Church since 1933 where she was a volunteer in the office and belonged to the Weslyan Circle. Volunteer at UHHS Memorial Hospital of Geneva for over 25 years. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and bird watching. She is survived by her many friends and her church family She was preceded in death by Husband, Maurice Braunbeck in 1998; Son, Michael in December 2005 and her Parents. No visitation will be observed A Graveside Service will be 11:00 am Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Kelloggsville Cemetery, in Monroe Township. Rev. David Hill of Geneva First United Methodist Church will be officiating.
