Elaine R. Janke, age 56 of Painesville, passed away on August 30, 2018. She was born on November 22, 1961 in Warren, Ohio to Judith (MacBeth) and Ralph Goldner. She married Ed Janke on July 15, 1989 in Painesville, Ohio. She graduated from Warren Western Reserve High School and was a member of the Painesville Baptist Church where she enjoyed helping with Sunday School and could always be found assisting in the nursery with the small children as well as helping with VBS in the summertime. Elaine also loved camping, 4-wheeling and crocheting, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Elaine leaves behind her husband, Ed of 29 years; children, Robert (Laura) Lytle, Jason (Kari) Janke, Stacie Lytle, Jennifer Janke; grandchildren, Makayla, Robert, Mason, Bryson, Emma, Ally and Vincent; sister, Kathy (Mike) Munson, Jackie Starkey, Tammy (Barry) Kirkpatrick; and brothers, Tim Goldner, and Richard (Laverne) Goldner. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents. Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at the Painesville Baptist Church, 140 Park Road Extension, Painesville, Ohio. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2017 at 11:00 am at the church. The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057 is assisting the family.
