Edward Albert Shimandle

Edward A. Shimandle, Age 59, Resident of Harpersfield, Ohio, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2009 at home. Born December 7, 1949 in Geneva, to Sophie (Karash) & Edward Carl Shimandle, he married Sylvia Sterrett on November 7, 1974 in Harpersfield He was a Grape Farmer 1967 Graduate of Geneva High School. Member of Welch?s Grape Co-Op for 27 years. Enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, auctions, garage sales, fishing and his many animals. He is survived by Wife: Sylvia Shimandle of Harpersfield; Daughter, Shellie (Eric) Jackett of Mentor-on-the-Lake; Son, Richard N. Chester of Harveys Lake, PA; 7 Grandchildren (Ed?s Rug Rats); 5 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great Grandchildren; 4 Sisters, Mary Ann Hollingsworth of Harpersfield, Frances Rice of Long Beach, CA, Kathy (Leonard) Clanton of Golden Shores, AZ, Alice (David) Vervais of Harpersfield; 2 Nephews He was preceded in death by his parents. Celebration of Life will be 4-7:00 pm, Monday, September 14, 2009, at the family home, 1517 Lafevre Road, Harpersfield, Ohio.
