Edna W. Adams

Edna W. Adams, age 97, of Perry, passed away Wednesday December 24, 2014 at Lake Health in Madison. She was born on September 26, 1917 in Thompson and was the daughter of the late Marie (Lonser) and Paul Wilber. She married H. Russell Adams in May of 1940 in Painesville. Edna was a graduate of Thompson High School and also attended Hiram College. She helped her husband manage the family farm in Perry and served on the Women's Committee for the Lake County Farm Bureau. Edna was also an active member of Perry Library Board. She is survived by her son David Adams of Perry; grandchildren, Rachel (Dave) Advey of Perry and Tom (Adrian) Adams of Phoenix, Arizona; great grandchildren, Parker and Austin. She is preceded in death by her husband H. Russell Adams; sister, Gertrude Quale and brothers, Howard and Paul Wilber. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Perry Cemetery, Center Street in Perry.
