Edie Tobul, age 84, of Madison, passed away peacefully January 25, 2018, surrounded by family. She was born June 6, 1933 in Tampa, Florida to Edmund and Annie St. Amant.
Edie enjoyed arts and crafts; quilting; sewing; gardening and caring for the wildlife in her yard. She was also a Cleveland Indians fan.
Edie is survived by daughters, Elizabeth (Ronald) Bowser of Geneva and Julie (Jim) Hooper of Madison; son, J. Robert (Liana) Melius of Madison; grandchildren, Amanda Hooper, Logan Hooper, Rebecca (William Libby) Melius, and Robert (Amanda) Melius; and great grandchildren, George and Joseph Melius, and Rosalind Libby; and brothers, Robert and Alfred St. Amant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Tobul in 1992; sisters, Rosalie Garofali and Mary Wilson; and brothers, Charles Edmund, Lawrence and John Jack St. Amant.
A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at North Madison Cemetery.

I will remember my Grandma Edie fondly, and am so grateful for the love she brought my Grandpa Louie. I will always cherish the memories of each Christmas or birthday that included a personalized, hand-sewn gift from her. Sending peace and love to her children and other grandchildren.
Sending my heartfelt condolences on the passing of my Grandma Edie. I have such wonderful memories of her from my childhood; from birthdays and Holidays to my First Holy Communion. I'll forever be grateful for the love she shared not just with my Grandpa Louie but the rest of us as well.
Our deepest condolences to Rob, Liz and Julie – and all of their familes on the passing of Edie. She will be missed. We (the entire family of Lewis Tobul) will always be grateful for her loving and dedicated care for Dad during his illness. God bless them both.
