Earl Seese, age 88 of North Perry, passed away Monday, February, 4, 2019 at home. He was born to Florence (Parker) and Hughie “Pete” Seese on August 24, 1930 in Alvy, West Virginia. On September 14, 1951, Earl married the love-of-his-life, Betty Wright, and together they started a family and a journey that would endure for 67 years. Earl worked for 25 years at Diamond Shamrock and retired from Perry Local Schools as a custodian after 13 years in 1990. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church. Also, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. With a sense of adventure, he rode his bike all over North Perry. Most of all, he treasured his family. Earl is survived by his loving wife, Betty; son, David (Dollie) Seese; daughter, Cindy Seese; two grandchildren, Travis (Tori) Seese, Jennifer (Jason) Allen; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Landon Seese, Andrew and Henry Allen; and sisters, Betty Schneider, Garnet Swiger, Helen Stevens, Donna (Ralph) Wade. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Wayne, James, Walter, Harry and Carl Seese. Friends will be received from 4:00-7:00 pm Thursday, February 7, 2019 at First Baptist Church, 3918 Main Street, Perry, OH 44081. The funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday, February 8, 2019 at the church with Pastor Mike Cole officiating. Burial will take place at Perry Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The First Baptist Church in Perry. The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison, is assisting the family.   1. I am so sorry for your loss. Earl was a great man and he will be dearly missed at the Madison Cleveland Clinic.

  2. I am so sorry for the loss of our family member Ear Seese. He has been a part of my life forever. He married my sister when I was four years old. What a great guy he was. Loved his stories so much. I never saw this man upset in my entire life. I will greatly miss calling him for information about people in the past, he was my source of knowledge of my families past, will always miss him. He certainly left his mark in this world. Hugs to everyone. Love this family!

  3. Earl Seese was my Uncle who married my mother’s sister. He was a wonderful person and the sweetest uncle ever. What a wonderful storyteller he was! I could listen to him for hours.
