Duncan Cowger

Duncan Cowger, Age 101, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011 Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord Township, Ohio. Born September 10, 1909 in Hackers Valley, West Virginia to Ivy A & Alvin Cowger He was a timber cutter for years and retired to become a farmer. Duncan liked fiddle, guitar, & classic country music. He is survived by children, Jean Kinney of Mattawamkeag, ME, Jobie Cowger of Gary, IN, Peg Gage of Madison, OH, Arnett Cowger of N. Jackson, OH, Vicki Greenslade of Ashtabula, OH, Donald Cowger of Warren, OH; 19 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 24 great-great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends He was preceded in death by 1st wife, Ethel (Fisher) Cowger; 2nd wife, Hazel (Emerson) Cowger; sons, Junior parents Friends will be received 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM on Friday, March 4, 2011, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 5, 2011, at the funeral home. Final Resting Place will be at Newbury Center Cemetery.
