Dorothy Stockey

Dorothy Stockey, age 70 of Rock Creek, was surrounded by her family when she passed away Thursday morning, September 25, 2014. She was the daughter of Frank and Julia (Tryko) Gordish and married James Stockey on September 7, 1963 in Willowick. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who had a natural talent for building and fixing anything that came her way. She had a knack for sewing, enjoyed shopping, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 51years, Jim Stockey; daughter Annamarie (David) Akins of Conneaut; grandchildren Amanda, Bill, and Steve; great grandchildren Christian, Wyatt, Jaxon, and Alexander; and brother Frank (Tommie) Gordish of Westerville. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Rosemarie Akins; and brother Ronald Gordish. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 175 S. Broadway Rd., Geneva, Ohio, 44044.
