Dorothy Locher

Dorothy May Locher, Age 80, of Dexter, Maine, passed away January 22, 2011. Born May 16, 1930 in Conneaut to Jay & Virginia (Bennett) Anderson she married Mathew E. Locher on January 27, 1964. Dorothy was a caregiver in private homes and was employed by Beery?s World. She was a member of the Thompson United Methodist Church until moving to Maine and then became a member of Christian Community Church in Dexter. She belonged to TOPS Group in Madison, OH and later in Dexter. She enjoyed her home and doing crafts. She had a great love for her children and grandchildren, and spending time with them (and they will ALL love and miss her dearly). She was devoted to her ?Beloved Companions?, her dogs, Max and Sam. Special people to Dorothy were Don & Maryann Bliss, Verna Scott, Marlyn Sullivan, Carolyn Robison, Ed & Diane Forro and her cousin, Nancy Bennett. Survived by Children, Judith (John) Carter of Thompson, Larry (Sharon) Carr of Paraquay, Patti Hash of Tallmadge, Beverly (Gerald) Wilson of Claridon, Sandra (Martin) Horan of Brandenburg, Kentucky, Susan (Robert Nelson) Forget of Dexter, ME; Stepdaughters, Rosemarie ?Gail? (Tom Osborne) Noce of Conneaut, Patricia (George) Haynes of Conneaut, Diana (Robert) Blood of Conneautville, PA; 24 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Alfred (Donna) Anderson of San Diego, CA; Sister, Janet (Roger) Eaton of East Springfield, PA. Preceded in death by: husband, Mathew E. Locher; Parents; son-in-law, Richard Hash Friends will be received 2-4:00 pm on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at The Behm Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 26 River St, Madison, OH 44057.
