Dorothy J. Stitt

Dorothy J. Stitt, age 93, of Geneva, Ohio passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at UH Geneva Medical Center. She was born January 3, 1924 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Edith B. (Manley) and Jean Z. Stitt. Dorothy worked at Deepwood Industries and the Creative Learning Workshop, retiring in 2013 and was a resident at Lakeland Living Opportunities in Madison for 20 years. She is survived by nephew, Tom Stitt; niece, Linda (David) Reed; great-nephews, Art (Darla) Stitt, Ed Stitt, Bradley (Janet) Stewart, Jordan (Lindsey) Reed; and great-nieces, Kelly Reed, LeeAnn Marie Stitt, Angela Stitt; and great-great-nephew, Viggo Christopher Stewart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edith and Jean Stitt; brother, Marvin Stitt; great-niece, Jessica Michelle Reed and great-nephew, Christopher Paul Stewart. Friends will be received Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of an 11:00 a.m. service at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio.
