Dorothy Helen McCoy Mandagelo Memorial services for Dorothy (Dottie) Mandagelo, 80, of Katy, Texas will be held at St. Peter's United Methodist Church, 20775 Kingsland, Katy, Texas 77450 on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2 p.m. On Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11 a.m., a final Memorial will be held at Chapel United Methodist Church, 2019 Hubbard Rd., Madison, Ohio 44057. Visitation will be Friday, September 15 between the hours of 6 - 8 p.m. at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, Ohio. Dorothy will be laid to rest next to her loving, late husband, Antonio (Tony) Mandagelo at Madison Memorial Cemetery. After a rich, fulfilling life surrounded with family and friends, Dottie lost her courageous battle with breast cancer on August 27, 2017. She was a strong, loving mother of 5 children. She and her husband raised their family in the small town of Madison, Ohio, with strong family connections. She and Tony were transferred with their youngest son to Texas, where she worked in the floral business in Clear Lake, later retiring from Clear Lake Florist. Bowling was one of her earlier favorite past times. She loved gardening and baking (especially around Christmas). She was seldom absent from any family sporting events when it came to her children and grandchildren. Supporting and keeping in touch with extended family was always a priority to Dottie. She was a pillar to her family. Survivors include children, Tonette Mandagelo, Pam (Bill) Weber, Marc (Kathy) Mandagelo, Mike (Patricia) Mandagelo, Nick Mandagelo; grandchildren, Renee (Jason) Hedges, Jeff Mandagelo, Brandon (Traci) Bain, Kelley (Patrick) Burkholder, Tiffany Mandagelo, Erin (Mark) Beverly, Lauren (Kris) Foster, Shawn Mandagelo, Kiefer Mandagelo; 9 great-grandchildren, and her sisters, nieces and nephews.
