Dorothy Cochran, age 76 passed away November 19, 2021. She was born July 8, 1945 in Bentleyville, PA to Virgil and Ruth (Hoak) Cowger. She married the late Edgar Palmer Cochran on October 8, 1966 in Cleveland.
Dorothy enjoyed quilting and sewing in her spare time. She also enjoyed babysitting and going to the beach.
She leaves behind her daughter, Cheryl Cochran, son Shane (Tammy) Cochran; 3 grandchildren, Bailey Puhalsky, Cade Cochran and Brody Cochran; and her brother, Nelson Cowger. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edgar; and daughter, Crystal Puhalsky.
Friends will be received, 5-7 pm Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. Dorothy was always helping my Mother and Daddy, such a blessing to our family. Always made the best cakes and always had a beautiful smile.
The most kind hearted and genuine person anyone ever did meet!! I will miss her more than anything and will continue to live my life and make her proud each step of the way❤️ Love you gram!!!!

Lived in the same neighborhood when Dorothy and her family lived in Dickenson County. She was a very pretty, sweet, and kind woman. She had a lovely smile. So sorry for her family’s loss. I pray that God will bring comfort and peace to your grieving hearts.
