Dorothy Anne "Taffy" Eberschlag

Dorothy Anne "Taffy" Eberschlag, of Kingsville, Ohio, passed away on May 6, 2017 at the age of 70. She was born on December 20, 1946 in Cambridge, MA, the daughter of Dorothy A. and George E. "Ted" Willis.
Dorothy was a resident of Northeast Ohio, mainly Wickliffe and Madison, for over 50 years.
She was a graduate of West Geauga High School and attended both The Ohio State University and Cleveland State University, where she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology.
Dorothy led a life dedicated to volunteerism and helping others in need. She was passionate about working with local nonprofits, and coordinated several outreach efforts and fundraising campaigns for organizations such as WomenSafe, Camp Ho Mita Koda, and WVIZ. Dorothy was also an artisan who developed and sold several varieties of handmade crafts, with a specialty in the production of natural gem stone jewelry.
More than anything, Dorothy loved spending time with her beautiful family.
Dorothy is survived by her six children, Dane Hedrick, John Hedrick, Patricia "Pixie" Hissam, Tamara "Shawna" Kimble, Tarek Fahmy, and Amira Fahmy; two step-children, Norman Eberschlag and Marti Ann Brazil; fourteen grandchildren; four siblings; and beloved friend, Mido Fahmy.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her youngest sister, Lorna.
Friends will be received 2:00 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, Ohio 44057.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was an amazing woman, who will be greatly missed. Beautiful inside and out with a wonderful sense of humor, empathy for others, compassionate, caring, willing to help others in whatever way she could. God gained a beautiful soul.
