Doris Nilsen Age 75 Resident of Madison, Ohio Passed away Monday, February 11, 2008 at home surrounded by her family. Born April 18, 1932 in Madison to Mary (Wheeler) & Howard Simmons Married William Nilsen in Madison on 1/15/1950 Memberships and Affiliations: Graduate of Andrews School for Girls. She was the oldest 4-H sewing adviser (Neat Little Workers) in Lake County, serving over 30 years. Member of Madison Outboard Boating Club and the Madison Historical Society and was an avid bowler. She is survived by Husband: William Nilsen of Madison 2 Daughters Paula Nilsen of Palm Beach, FL Brenda (Gary) Ketring of Madison Granddaughter Rachel Ketring Grandson Brent Nilsen; Great Grandson Jeremy, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents Daughter, Linda Nilsen Friends will be received 6:30-8:30 Friday, February 15, 2008 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Memorial Service will follow at 8:30 with the Rev. William Alvey officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
