Doris A. Wilbur, 89, of Thompson, Ohio, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2008, Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing And Rehab in Madison, OH.
Born April 7, 1919 in Thompson to Dorothy ?Dolly? (Pomeroy) and George Dewey and married Allan E. Wilbur on November 21, 1942 in Thompson.
doris was the Deputy Clerk of Courts in Geauga County, retiring in 1981.
She was a 1937 Graduate of Thompson High School. Member of Thompson United Methodist Church and the Angeline Rebekah Lodge. Enjoyed her flowers and spending time with her family.
She is survived by 2 Daughters, Claudia (Vern) Crookshanks of Thompson and Paula Ruck of Trumbull Twp.; 3 Grandchildren, Adam (Susan Richmond), Kay (Chad Winzenreid) & Scott Ruck; Brother, Homer (Ardis) Dewey of Troy Township; Step-Brother, Donald (Merry Lou) Philips of Marion, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by Her Husband, Allan E. Wilbur in 2007; Her Mother and Step-father Dolly & D. E. Philips.
Friends will be received 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday, October 9, 2008, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio,
Celebration of Life will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2008, at the funeral home. Rev. Harley Wheeler of Thompson United Methodist Church will be officiating.
Final Resting Place will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Thompson.
