George and Donna were really fine people. A joy to spend time and talk. Sympathy to her sons and to the Behm family. Another page of memories..
Dave, your Mom was just great. We worked together on the Y Board for years and years. She brought me a photo of you once and I stupidly gave it back because I thought it was from her personal stash and then I regretted it ever since. Maybe you could send another to me now at 1350 Sebring in Madison and this time I would keep it. Promise! It's just a photo of you as an old guy! We had the nicest talks about you, Dave, sitting in front of the Y on warm summer evenings. She was so proud of you. I won't be able to get to the service but my heart will be there with you boys and your families. Rest in Peace, Donna.
Dear Craig and Nancy:
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I was checking to see if there were condolenscenes left for my mom and saw the obituary. May the Lord comfort you during these difficult times.
I will always have such comforting memories of Mrs. Redecker. As our “lunch lady” at HNK she would greet us so warmly each day. As my neighbor, she would let me hang out on her porch and do puzzles with her. When I was around nine, she knew I was having trouble sleeping, so she would send me secret messages with a flicker of her light from her porch at bedtime and I would know that someone was watching out for me. She and Mr. Redecker even took me on a trip to meet their family. She was even nice to us when we were snotty teenagers. Later on, she was present at my bridal shower. Mrs. Redecker was the embodiment of a great lady and a true neighbor. My deepest condolences to her family. Heather Smith Koch
Many fond memories of our long time neighbor in Madison Donna Redecker. Donna came over to our house on many occasions and talked to my mom, Nellie Malcomb. I found the Redeckers to always be a great family. My sincere condolences to Craig, Dave and Curt. Karen Miller (Malcomb)
Dave & Doreen – Sending our sympathy to you and your family. I have great memories of your Mom from Homer Nash. Miss seeing you at our Class of '64 reunions. Ed & Marje Shook
Boy, neighbors don't come any better than Donna and Jim. They played a part in my family growing up and even had signals to our kids . We were lucky to have them one door down and we felt like they were family. So sorry to see the end of that legacy. Our thoughts go to the family.Bill Smith
