Donald L Cambier

Donald Cambier, age 76, of Thompson passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at home. He was born November 7, 1937 in Houtzdale, PA to Philomena (Dufour) and Julius Cambier. He married Belva Gromley October 19, 1957 in Cherry Tree, PA. Donald was a local truck driver for many years, last driving for Conway Trucking. He was a member of the Masonic Temple Lodge and loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by his wife, Belva; daughters, Renee Schoolcraft, Yvette (Earl Mahoney) Cambier; sons, Kevin Cambier and Greg Cambier; grandchildren, Natalie (Lee) Fausnaugh, Stephanie Schoolcraft, Abby & Ally Cambier and Ryan & Nicole Cambier; brother, Sidney (Kathy) Cambier and uncle, Richard (Dena Mae) Cambier. He was preceded in death by his parents. There will be a local memorial service at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Harpersfield United Methodist Church, 224 Garford Road, Geneva, OH 44041, officiated by Pastor Shirley Frantz. There will also be PA visitation and service as follows: visitation from 12-1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7th at Rairigh Funeral Home, 18944 Rt. 286 Hwy East, Hillsdale, PA 15746, followed by a service at 1 p.m. Final Resting Place will be Rowley Cemetery in Hillsdale, PA.
