Gayle & Family, Don was my first supervisor with the Adult Parole Authority back in 1973. I will always remember him and his spirited sense of humor. He lightened the hearts of so many of us who had stressful jobs under difficult circumstances. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
Prayers for your family during this time of sorrow. We are so sorry for your loss.
Gayle, Rylee and family, my love, thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. To say Don was amazing is understatement. He was a great man with a wonderful sense of humor with a loving caring soul. One of my fondest memories was the night we all went out to eat after Matthew's conformation. The both of you had us laughing the entire ride to and from the restaurant and at dinner. We laughed so hard my stomach and head hurt so bad from the laughter. It was and is one the greatest nights out. He will be missed greatly by me, MacKenzie,Meaghan and Matthew. He had a zest for life unlike anything I have ever seen. I hope you find comfort in the love for him and your cherished memories. And, may you draw strength from the love that surrounds you. May God bless Don and May God bless you Gayle and Rylee and the rest of your family. Much love to all of you, Melissa Zundel, MacKenzie, Meaghan and Matthew Moran

So sorry to hear of Don's Passing. There's a new angel in heaven who suffers no more. Be at peace Don. I am so thankful he was a part of my life. We worked together at the Adult Parole Authority. I was a supervisor in the Dayton District office. Don could always put a smile on my face:) . It was an honor for me to be his friend and co-worker. My sympathy to Loretta and his family. Hugs and prayers to you as you go thru these tough days, but believe in God's grace. God will walk with you and be by your side just as Don will always be in your hearts.May he be pain free and know that he will always be with us, for love NEVER dies. Peace and love and God's blessings be with you!! RIP DON
Gayle & family; so very sorry for your loss of a truly great, one-of-a-kind man! Don will be greatly missed by not only family members, but by anyone who had the pleasure of working with him or knowing him! Mary Jane & I will keep all of you in our prayers! Don…I want to thank you for being instrumental in making me feel welcomed into the “family” of APA folks in Cleveland! Though I was an “out-of-towner” from Columbus, I always felt like one of the gang during my visits to Cleveland! Your friendship towards me meant so very much! I only wish I would have had the opportunity to spend more time with you. The Adult Parole Authority was a much better & more interesting place to work because of you! You were a truly unique individual; God threw the mold away after he made you! Thank you from my very heart for being my friend these many years! I would be remiss if I failed to also thank you for your service to our country in the Coast Guard! I will miss you, my friend…Godspeed!
Dear Gayle and family, Larry and I missed the paper about Don, but we send our deepest sympathy to you and your family at this most difficult time.
