Donald James Imhoff

Memorial services for Donald James Imhoff, 88, of Madison, will be noon Monday, Sep. 24, 2007, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 26 River St., Madison.
Mr. Imhoff passed away Wednesday, Sep. 19, 2007, at Rae-Ann Nursing and Rehabilitation in Geneva.
Born Feb. 12, 1919, in Cleveland, he was the son of Daisey E. (Pearn) and Albert H. Imhoff
He was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and served in the U.S. Army 4th Infantry Division during World War II, in the European Theater.
Mr. Imhoff taught carpentry at the Ashtabula County Joint Vocational School and was a self-employed carpenter.
Survivors are his wife, Geraldine (Mottl) Imhoff, whom he married Jan. 11, 1947, in Cleveland; daughters, Lynn Imhoff of Madison, Gail (Wayne) Schmidt of Gilbert, Ariz., Jan (John) Griessel of Southern Pines, N.C., and Gwen (Thomas) Moyer of Hillsboro, Ill.; son, Mark (Joy) Imhoff of Euclid; and grandchildren, Jonathan, Samuel, Emily, Peter, Philip, Beth Ann and Deanna.
His parents; and sister, Shirley Rist, are deceased.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until noon Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
