Donald Clevenger

Donald “Donnie” Clevenger, 65, of Madison passed away in his home on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. He was born on February 18, 1959 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Ronald and Velma Clevenger.
Donald was a mechanic and had a passion for muscle cars. He later became a carpenter and worked construction in many states. He could find a way to fix anything. Donald loved music, especially classic rock and old country. He could sing every word to just about any song, and in the summer you could find him on his front porch listening to music and talking to neighbors. He enjoyed making others laugh and telling stories of the crazy things he had done when he was younger. Donald was a very generous man who would help others in any way he could. He was a patriotic man and belonged to the Sons of Legionnaires Post 601.
Donald is survived by his daughter, Kristy Clevenger; sons, Nicholas Clevenger, Jonathan Clevenger, and Donny Spaid; brother, Ronald Clevenger, sisters, Cheryl Booth (Al), and Shawn Ferra; and granddaughter Hailey Samarin/Clevenger; brother in law and lifelong friend, Kevin Trumble; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Clevenger; mother, Velma Clevenger; and brother Dwayne.
The family is doing a private cremation service. There will be celebration of life to follow, details will be announced and all who knew and loved him are welcome.
