Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Our family has spent every summer for years at GOTL and the Woodward family has become our family and has made a huge impact. The memories spent at GOTL is because of what Woody started and what the family continues to build. We love you so much and we send all our love and prayers your way.

  2. He will be missed always considered him a friend and would always visit woodys world when at lake when i could.

  3. Oh what a loss. Woody followed his mother Martha as the anchor of Geneva On The Lake. From his water slide to his carousel and ferris wheel, he sold happiness. He helped me get started at O’Neill’s Landing and was always generous and involved in Democratic campaigns. How terribly appropriate the celebration of life will be at the Cove. In the 80’s there were four of us: Me, Woody, Eddie, and Pete Macchia. We lost a great one this week. Just saw him at Duane’s house playing cards and he looked great. Bill O’Neill, RN. A bartender from Geneva On The Lake.

  4. As Jerry and I owned the Eagle Cliff Inn on the strip, we were only a quick golf cart ride to the Firehouse, thus we got to know both Cheryl and Woody and their children quite well. Jerry and I spent many an afternoon/evening there, in fact, so much years ago, that we always teased that we had stock in the place! Cheryl. Woody will be missed more than I believe many even realize. His obituary hit the nail on the head. Woody was known and loved by many business associates, including all of the friends and family who had the privilege of knowing him and spending time with him. May he now rest easy. You are loved.

  5. My sincere condolence just know we are here for you and you are in our prayers you and your family
