Don Cocherell

Don Cocherell, age 62, resident of Madison, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones, Monday, December 12, 2011 Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord Township, Ohio. He was born February 6, 1949 in Painesville to Eleanor (Copley) and Arthur Cocherell. He married Darlene Wagner on December 7, 1968 in Ashtabula. Don worked at Avery Dennison for 36 years. He was a 1967 graduate of Madison High School. Don enjoyed biking, hiking, fishing, golfing, playing poker with his buddies, and watching sports. Don was a gentle kind hearted man, who loved his family and they will miss him greatly. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Darlene Cocherell of Madison; daughters, Denise (Robert) Schlatt of Painesville Twp.; Danielle (John) Kuivila of Hiram; 3 grandchildren, Hannah, Emma and Christian; and brother, David (Joann) Cocherell of Euclid. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Diane Lee. Friends will be received from 4-7 PM Thursday, December 15, 2011 at The Behm Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio 44057.
