Dolores Marie Carraher

Dolores Marie Carraher, Age 89, of Geneva, passed away December 23, 2010 at University Hospital in Cleveland. Born March 21, 1921 in Pittsburgh, PA to Mary (Nugent) and John Gorgas she married Earl Carraher on September 22, 1940 in Pittsburgh. A 1940 graduate of Peabody High School in Pittsburgh, Dolores was a member of Assumption Church in Geneva where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She also helped to establish the Assumption School. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and caring for her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Survived by: Daughters: Mary Kay (Ron) Gersin of Geneva, Betty (Bill) Peters of Geneva; Son, Earl ?Bud? (Francine) Carraher, Jr. of Gilbert, AZ; Grandchildren, DeAnne (Jodie Davies) Aussem, Erin (Joe) Toth, Bill (Lori) Peters, Michelle (Pat) Covell, Christopher (Winnie) Carraher, Corrine (Tom) Ricker; Great-Grandchildren: Lochlin, Logan, Bella, Liam, Lauren, Lia, Keegan, Dillen, Morgan, Keera, Caiden; Several Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by Husband Earl Carraher, Sr.; Her Parents; 5 Brothers, John, Leo, Michael, James, and Edward; 4 Sisters, Agnes, Theresa, Catherine, and Bernadette. Friends will be received 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Behm Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 175 S Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 W Main St, Geneva, Ohio. Final Resting Place will be Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.
