Derek Allen Charrette

Derek Allen Charrette, Jr. age 5 of Willowick, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Madison. Born May 13, 2013 in Willoughby he was the loving son of Angela (Larbig) and Derek Charrette, Sr. A loving little boy Derek had a smile that could capture the room. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his brother and sisters. Monkeys and the color green were his favorite and he was always right there to lend a helping hand. A passion for sports he loved baseball and had just finished his season playing for the Eastlake Baseball Sluggers. Derek is survived by his parents: Derek and Angela; sisters: Jasmine and Alexandria; brother: Damian; grandparents: Scott and Theresa Burr, Albert and Loretta Larbig, and Glenn Charrette along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 6:15pm on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Zimmerman Field (behind Jefferson Elementary School) in Eastlake. The family would like to thank the Madison Village Police Department and the Madison Fire District for their fast response and gentle care they gave during this time.
