Denzil Wayne McCourt

Denzil Wayne McCourt, age 84, of Madison, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Rae-Ann Skilled Nursing in Geneva. He was born May 9, 1936 in Webster Springs, West Virginia to Audrey Chloe (Kiner) & James Robert “Bob” McCourt. Denzil worked for WS Tyler for 19 years as a Welder and 13 years for Chardon Metal Products and also worked for Industrial Rayon. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany from 1955-1956. In his spare time, he loved fishing. Denzil is survived by his wife, Carol Patricia McCourt; sons, Kenton, Tim, and Randy McCourt; 8 Grandchildren; 13 Great-Grandchildren; one great great grandchild and brother, Danny R. McCourt of Altha, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters; Christina Lynch, Dovie Hamrick and Emzie Ashley, all of WV; brothers, Bennie, Ora, Roland McCourt, all of WV and Roy Dane McCourt of Cleveland, OH and step dad, Ervin H.
