Dennis J. Smith, Age 53, of Madison, passed away: March 13, 2012 at his home. Born March 4, 1959 in Painesville Ohio to Eleanor M. (Vekony) and Donald G. Smith. Dennis was formally employed at Meyers Fire Protection, Inc. in Willoughby and a 1977 graduate of Riverside High School, where he was enrolled as a member of the National Honor Society. He enjoyed sports including baseball, football and watching Nascar. Survived by: Parents:Donald G. and Eleanor M. Smith of Geneva Brothers:Garry M. Smith of Ashtabula Donald P. Smith of Madison Preceded in death by Grandparents; Dale and Emma Smith, John and Helen Vekony, and many beloved relatives. Friends will be received 10 -11am, Friday, March 16, 2012, at the Behm Family Funeral Home in Madison, Ohio. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 11:00 am.
