Dennis Aultman

Dennis "Papaw" Aultman, 76, of Geneva, passed away at Geauga Medical Campus while surrounded by his family. He was born February 12, 1939 to Wilma (Dereamer) and Rex Aultman. Denny served in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1959. He married Betty Demshar in 1965. Denny's greatest enjoyment was following his 4 grandchildren with their sports and activities. He also loved and enjoyed his Fantasy Football Family of 24 years. He enjoyed his family gatherings sitting in his chair and making us all laugh. Denny loved sitting outside on nice days in his chair listening to classic country radio and visiting with family and friends. On any given day friends and family would stop and enjoy his lighthearted spirit and sense of humor. He was known by all that knew him for his "chair". He made us laugh until his last breath. Denny is survived by his wife of 50 years Betty; sons, Denny Aultman, Mike Aultman, Daniel (Eileen McCafferty) Aultman; daughter, Mickey Aultman Mihalick; grandchildren, Brooke and Grant Mihalick, and DJ and Josh Aultman; brothers Larry (Doris) Aultman, Tom (Carolyn) Aultman; sister Anita Aultman. Denny is predeceased by his parents, brothers Ron and Hugh Aultman; and sister Peggy Aultman-Gorman. There will be a private memorial with immediate family.
