Deborah K. Blackman, age 50, of Madison, OH, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013 at her home. She was born June 19, 1963 in Wooster, OH, to Janet (Wirt) and Jerry L. McFarren. She married Douglas Blackman in Las Vegas on July 7, 1997.
Deborah had worked as an assembler at Pentair in Chardon for the past 5 years. She was an avid bowler and belonged to the Madison Softball Association. She enjoyed being a mother and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas Blackman of Madison; daughters, Nicole (Greg) Burn of Rock Creek, Megan (Shane) Mazza and Heather Blackman, both of Madison; granddaughters, Cherish, Hailey and Jocelyn Burn; mother, Janet McFarren of Wooster; sisters, Sharon Wolboldt of Marietta, Linda (Allan) Davis of Wooster; aunt, Rebecca McFarren; uncles, Thomas and Gorden McFarren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057. Rev. Kelly M. Irish of St. Anne's Anglican Church will be officiating. Family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home until 1 p.m. and on Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m.
