Deanna B. Nunnally

Deanna B. (Cook) Nunnally went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 8, 2025. She was born on August 17, 1937 in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Charles and Martha (Pizzuro) Cook.

She leaves behind her children, Kay Brookshire, Evan Nunnally (Maria), Joan Nunnally Painter (Allen), and Gail Bengele (Brian); grandchildren, Carly Alexander (Joel), Brian LaBounty, Adam LaBounty, James Brookshire, Joshua Nunnally, Daniella Nunnally, Elizabeth Rutkowski (Richard), Todd Kravos, Benjamin Sendek, Leah Sendek, Melissa Costa (James), Sean Pitrelli, Samantha Bengele, and Steven Bengele, Melissa (Will) Smith, Scott (Lisa) Painter and Daniel Painter; 7 great-grandchildren; sons-in-law, Clay LaBounty and Thomas Sendek. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Richard; daughters, Joy LaBounty and Jane Sendek; her parents Charles and Martha Cook; sister, Flora Lucas; and brother, Frederick Cook.

Deanna took great pride in being a wonderful mother and wife and her family meant everything to her. She worked at Baily Controls for a period of time and she also worked at several small Convenient Stores where she was known to strike up a good conversation with just about anyone.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 16550 Rock Creek Road in Thompson, OH 44086. Visitation at the church will be one hour prior to the service commencing at 10:00 a.m. A luncheon will be provided immediately following the Mass in the lower level of the church. A private burial will be held at a later date at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, Ohio. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in Deanna’s name be mailed to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 16550 Rock Creek Road, Thompson, OH 44086. 440-298-1327
