Dean Bader, age 64, of Painesville, passed away surrounded by loved ones January 7th at the Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland. Beloved husband of Barbara Bader, loving father to Kyler (Erin), and Papa to Dean. Born on October 3, 1958 in Alleghany County, PA he was the first child to the late Carol Christiansen Bader, and survived by loving Father William (Bernadette) Bader. Beloved and adored Grandson of his late Grandparents, Althea and John Christiansen, and adoring Sister, Jill Krally (Jim) and Nephew Grant Krally. Nephew of the late Gary Bader (Patty). Also survived by Stepbrother Jeff Bader (Megan) and their family; Aunt Susan Morrow (Dean) and their family. He is also survived by many special members of his wife Barb’s family. He leaves behind many friends at Giant Eagle, American Legion Post 112 in Madison and the Elks Lodge #549. Dean served honorably in the United States Air Force, and was the owner of a very successful copier company employing folks for many years. Taken far too young, Dean loved life and lived it to the fullest every day. Dean initiated and led many charitable fund raising events throughout the course of his life dating back to his military days, helping first responders, children and folks less fortunate many times with articles written about his many charitable endeavors. Dean loved his family, Mancini’s Bread, books and his motorcycle. Family and Friends will be received from 1-3 pm on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. A Celebration of Dean’s life will take place at 3 pm with Military Honors. The family suggested contributions be made in Dean’s name to the Lance Corporal David Baker Memorial Scholarship Fund, Riverside High School Board of Education, Attention Treasurers Office, 585 Riverside Drive, Painesville, OH  44077.   1. I am so sorry for your loss. I have many fun memories of Dean at the Christmas parties and all the times I had to call him to help fix the printer . You were such an important part of my life Barb, you have such a special place in me . My heart aches for you and your family . You are in my prayers .
