David Kanda

david kanda

July 6, 1989 ~ June 28, 2018

David Kanda, age 28, of Perry, died Thursday, June 28, 2018 at his home. He was born July 6, 1989 in Ashtabula, OH and graduated from Perry High School in 2008. David was a kind, loving, hardworking, fun person who loved his family dearly. He worked hard to learn the HVAC trade and was particularly proud of his abilities to make custom ductwork. A decision made in his late teens to experiment with drugs made a huge impact on his life and all who loved him. He fought long and hard but ultimately lost. Dear precious people that work with our sons and daughters-never give up and never stop putting your faith in our wonderful God and in the healing power of Jesus. He is survived by his parents Bill and Debbie Kanda of Perry; siblings Timothy (Machille) Kanda, Stephen (Chelsea) Kanda, Gregory (Erin) Kanda, Wendy (Brandon) Strnisa, Robert Kanda and Christopher Kanda; nieces Ava Kanda and Lily Strnisa; nephew Landon Strnisa; grandmothers, Eileen Kanda and Mary Lou Miller and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William R. Kanda, Sr in 1992 and Carroll Miller in 2017. Friends will be received Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Lifeline Church, 5236 Middle Ridge Rd. Madison, OH. A funeral service will follow visitation at 3:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Lifeline Church or Hope Over Heroine.
