Cynthia (Wigmore) Leininger, age 98, passed away November 15, 2017 at Saybrook Landing. She was born August 26, 1919 in St. Thomas Mount, India to Sophia Elfreda (Hay-Ellis) & Walter Richard Wigmore. She married Roger Roy Leininger on July 4, 1945 in Bangalore, India Cynthia was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Madison. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, volunteering much of her time to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation helping with rummage sales. She was also an accomplished musician and played many various instruments and shared her talent by volunteering to play wherever there was a need. She even played piano for military troops, while in India during World War II. She shared her unconditional love throughout her life with many people especially with her family. She is survived by her son, Bryan (Susan) Leininger of Saybrook; daughter, Sandra (Dave, deceased) Head of Madison; son David (Janet) Leininger of Chardon; grandchildren Traci, Andrew, Kim (Brett), Roger (Courtney), Carrie (Daniel, deceased), Jared (Jennifer), Jenna and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Roy Leininger, daughters, Barbara Hugg, Cindy Leininger; son, Mark Leininger and grandson David Allen Head (Debra) A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 30th 2017 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 3050 McMackin Road, Madison, OH 44057. Vicar Steve Berndt will officiate. Final Resting Place will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg, OH. The family is being served by the Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison.
