Craig Thomas Munn Sr.

Craig Thomas Munn Sr., age 73, of Perry, Ohio (formerly of Tamworth, NH) passed away suddenly Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at his Daughter’s home. Born July 25, 1950 in Portland, Maine he was the son of Earl and Shirley (Webb) Munn. He grew up in CT and later moved to New Hampshire where he married the love of his life, Cheri Smith in Silver Lake, NH on October 29, 1988. They created a beautiful life together, joining two families as one, and eventually had a child of their own together. Craig worked 22 years in Maintenance and Security for the Grand Summit Hotel in Bartlett, New Hampshire until his retirement in June of this year. In his earlier years he was a General Contractor with his father, Earl. Craig was affectionately known as “Mr. Fix It” by his Family. He could build anything and he loved to tinker and had a special affection for classic cars and riding motorcycles. He was also known to his Family as “The Hulk” for the simple fact of all the experimental treatments and medications he was on to battle Stage 4 brain cancer, heart attack, abdominal aneurysm, and eventually kidney failure. His strength and will to live inspired his family and those around him. He was a fighter and never gave up, even during his last few days. He loved life and loved his Wife, family, Grandpup Mazie more than anything. He was a kind and generous man who would do anything for those in need, especially his family. He always offered a lending hand for those struggling or needing assistance. He loved to watch old Westerns and SciFi movies and listen to oldies and country music. He is survived by his wife Cheri Munn; children, Nicole DaGrossa, Christopher (Amber) Munn, Lisa Munn, Matthew (Chereanna) Parsons, Carina (Trevor) Gordon; grandchildren, Ashley, Jessica, Maci, Dylan, Makayla, Brianna, Alexis, Taylor, Patrick, Gianna and Henry; several great-grandchildren; sister, Pamella (James) Allen. He was preceded in death by his Parents Earl and Shirley Munn, son, Craig Thomas Munn Jr and sister, Donna Sutton. A Memorial Service will be held at his Daughter’s home with his Family.
