February 10, 1967 ~ October 27, 2021

Constance (Connie) Irene Eichenser passed away peacefully at Tri-Point Hospital in Concord, Ohio on October 27, 2021, surrounded by family. She was 54 years old. Born to Chuck and Kathy Capretta in Painesville, Ohio on February 10, 1967, Connie graduated from Mentor High School then attended the Cleveland Institute of Art. She worked as a bookkeeper for Knez Homes and as a framer for Gallery One and SKP Photography in her early years, then as a consultant for Tastefully Simple. More recently, she established a custom bakery with her daughter, called Mini Me, featuring her popular pumpkin rolls, lemon bars, banana bread, and cake pops. She also served as a notary, long-time treasurer and unit leader for American Heritage Girls Troop OH-0215, and treasurer for Trail Life USA Troop OH-215. However, Connie’s primary service was as a supportive wife, a loving mother, and a cheerful and hard-working church member. Whether baking delicious desserts, painting, cleaning, hosting, or serving in any number of other ways, Connie continuously helped others and encouraged people with her smile and positive attitude. Connie was widely known, and loved, for being a gentle and generous spirit. She liked everyone and everyone liked her. Connie followed her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in her daily life. She is now with her Lord in eternity! Connie is survived by her husband, Jim Eichenser; by her three children, Katrina West (Zachary), Noah Eichenser, and Dayna Eichenser; by her mother, Kathy Capretta; by her brother, Mark Capretta (Rhonda); and by many others in her extended family and church family. A Celebration of Life service is scheduled at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, November 7, 2021, at her church, New Day Christian Church, 6835 North Ridge Road, Madison, Ohio, with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. A meal will follow. Connie’s favorite verse was Isaiah 40:31 – “but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison is assisting the family.
