Clement “Junior” Flaviani, age 75 of Geneva, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Rae Ann Nursing Home. He was born June 21, 1949 in Youngstown, the son of Clemente and Mary (Tascione) Flaviani. He married Connie Flaviani (Gilligan) in 2007.

Junior served in the US Army and in 1969 was stationed in Vietnam. He then worked as a Machinist for over 40 years and retired from Warren Fabricating in 2019. Junior was an avid fan of Cleveland sports and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a graduate of Girard High School (class of 1968) where he excelled in football and track.

He is survived by his three step children, Jodi (Jack), Doug (Lisa), and Mike (Shawna); and seven step grandchildren, Hanna, Lexi, Emily, Nathan, Jake, Brycen and Charlie; and his sister Francine and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Connie and parents.

  4. So very sorry for the family’s loss. I knew Junior back in elementary school through high school. Great dancer at St. Rose back in 8th grade! Good memories with good friends stay with us for a long time. Prayers for all.

  5. Our condolences to Francine and the family. We were lucky enough to run in to Jr a few years ago at Eastwood Mall. We met up at Firebirds and cousins Gus and Jr got to catch up a little bit. Glad they got to spend that time together. Our son Dan was reminiscing today on the times he was with Jack at Mary’s and Jr was around from time to time. Dan remembered his humor and stories.RIP Jr.

So thankful that God placed Jerry in your journey to become your friend and advocate over the past year and a half. All you guys- Tom, George, Ed & Dave enjoyed some good times.   7. Junior was my neighbor , we grew up together . I have so many memories of us doing things with my brother Dennis that it would take many pages. Junior was one of a kind that would try anything that came along. Shooting guns .driveing cars and motorcycles and was just being himself. He was a good athlete but most of all a good friend although I haven’t seen him for a while I often remembered the times we had together. I will miss you my old friend may you rest in peace.

  9. Clemmy, I enjoyed our talks about the military when I was stationed in Florida and you were living a few miles away. Thank you for your service to our Country! You will be missed.

  10. Two more things to add – I always pointed you out to my friends when we watched The Deer Hunter. I was so proud. You have always been one of my biggest heroes!

  11. Growing up next to you, Mary, Dutch and Fran was a true blessing from God. We started as next door neighbors but quickly became chosen family. Oh how happy your mom and dad must be to have you in their arms again. Thank you for your service, smiles and kindness through the years.
