Clark F. Pagenstecher
October 4, 1934 ~ July 28, 2015
Clark F. Pagenstecher, 80, a resident of Madison, Ohio, passed away on July 28, 2015 at David Simpson Hospice House after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his loving wife Dorothy, and his extended family. He was born October 4, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois.
Clark enjoyed his wife and family most of all. He met the love of his life in high school and was married to her for 58 years. Together they had five children. Clark served his country during the Korean War and went on to work as a salesman for DuPont Corporation for 35 years. He retired in 1990. Dorothy and Clark moved to Florida where they especially loved having visits from their children and grandchildren. Clark had a way of making whomever he met feel like the most important person in the world. He was very generous. His passions were golfing and fishing which he passed on to his four sons and grandsons. The pearl of his life was his only daughter Nancy who was also the oldest of five. His wife "Dot" and his sons loved to go on annual fishing trips on the Indian River and the Atlantic Ocean. Clark was a devoted husband, father and had many close friends. He loved and spoiled his grandchildren. He was truly one of a kind who made this world a better place. He will be missed by all he touched.
He was preceded in death by his father Arthur, who died when Clark was just 12, and his mother Harriet who died in 1992. Clark was an only child.
Clark was a faithful member of St. Cyprian Church and has many surviving family members. He leaves behind his loving wife Dorothy and his five children: Nancy and her husband Frank Whalen from Perry, Mark and his wife Laura from Mason, Scott and his wife Dawn from Elyria, Bryan and his wife Rebecca from San Antonio and Mike from Columbus. Clark also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
