June Eller (Born: Clareen June Eller) Of Saybrook Township, Ohio Clareen June Girard Eller, 75 years old, passed on October 24th at her beloved home of 41 years surrounded by her devoted and loving family. June was born on June 6th, 1933 in Ashtabula, Ohio. She was born to Peter and Christine Girard. In 1945, her family moved to Saybrook, Ohio. There they began Girard?s Nursery. June grew to become an extraordinary and greatly loved human being. Throughout her life, her first thought was of others before herself. She felt her assets were gifts to be shared with everyone! June was a gift to this world and everyone who met her was privileged by the experience. June Eller was a committed wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Her remaining immediate family includes: Her husband of 54 years, Clarence Eugene ?Gene?- Daughter Leslie (John) Barrell of Charlotte, NC, Sons, Bruce Eller and Brad (Melanie) Eller of Saybrook- Stepmother Clara Mary Girard of Saybrook- Sisters Carol Rutter of St. Petersburg and Sandy McNally of Cleveland- Grandchildren Marine Lance Corporal Justin Eller, Maria Barrell and Crystal Eller and Step-Grandchildren Christopher, Jocelyn and Jessica and many more family members who loved her tremendously June?s past involvements include: Ashtabula Women?s and Men?s Choir, Assumption Church Liturgical Committee, Assumption Church Cantor and Church Choir member, School Committees and 4-H leader. June Eller has a God given voice that was envied by songbirds. She enjoyed performing as much as her audience loved her performances! Her other hobbies include: collecting porcelain birds, flower gardening, antiquing, bird watching and church involvement. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Peter Jr. and infant brother Joseph. Calling Hours will be 2-4 & 7-9 Monday, October 27 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, OH 44041 Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 on Tuesday, October 28 at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 West Main Street, Geneva, Ohio 44041 Burial will occur at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva, Ohio Memorial Contributions can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 2141 Rosecrans Ave. Suite 7000.
