Claire Ann Walker

Claire Ann Walker, 82, of Mentor, passed away Friday, March 6, 2009 Mentor Way Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with her husband at her side. Born May 22, 1926 in Cleveland to Theresa C. (Zinns) & Charles O. Campbell she married Thomas William Walker, Sr. in Cleveland, Ohio on November 10, 1945. She formerly was an Assistant Dietician at NEO Hospital. Claiore was a former President of American Legion Post #601 Auxiliary. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Madison. She was a caring and loving person. She is survived by Husband of 63 years, Thomas William Walker, Sr. of Mentor; Son, Thomas Jr. (Cindy) Walker of Eastlake; Daughter, Christine (John) Trusty of Mentor; Granddaughter, Shannon (Ryan) Herda of Mentor; Great Granddaughter, Shealyn Marie Herda of Mentor; Sister, Theresa (Kurt) Welsh of Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Jean Markgraf & Donna Vick. Friends will be received 6-8:00 pm Monday, March 9, 2009, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Road, Madison, Ohio. Fr. Sean Donnelly will be officiating.
