Churchill Brewster

Churchill "Shorty" Brewster, Age 86, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Friday, September 24, 2010 at home. Born April 21, 1924 in McDell, West Virginia to Mollie Crabtree (Wooldridge) & Frank Brewster he married Ruth Shaffer on December 24, 1942 in Perry. He formerly was a Supervisor for the Painesville Road Department. Shorty was a member of First Baptist Church of Perry and the Coon Hunters Association. He enjoyed Wednesday Night Card Club, farming, going to the Amish Bloomfield Sale and eating at the Nifty Fifties Diner. He was a loving husband and dedicated father who loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Brewster of Madison; Children, Valerie Williams, Molly (Keith) Brainard, Larry Brewster, Melvin (Becky) Brewster, Clyde (Kathy) Brewster, Dollie (David) Seese, Marvin (Amy) Brewster, Clifford Brewster; 15 Grandchildren; 16 Great-Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Monday, September 27, 2010 and also 10-11:00 am Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at The First Baptist Church, 3918 Main Street, Perry, Ohio. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at The First Baptist Church, 3918 Main Street, Perry, with Pastor Michael Cole officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chesterland, Ohio.
