Christine Marie Kohli (nee Recher), age 68, of Geneva, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023 at UH Cleveland Medical Center while with her family. She was born December 17, 1955 in Cleveland, the daughter of Frank J. and Margaret M. (Gromofsky) Recher. Chris was a Geneva High School graduate. She worked for the Geneva School System as a Cafeteria Manager. She was an avid crafter and loving mother and grandmother. You could find Chris at a garage sale, or watching her favorite classic movie, The Wizard of Oz…and now, she’s with those blue birds flying over the rainbow…. She is survived by her children, John F. (Alfredo Prieto) Kohli, Margaret H. Kohli, and Jeffrey C. (Jaylene) Kohli; grand children, Madison and Charles; sisters, Mary Laffey, Victoria (Rory) Whelpley and Veronica King; brothers, Frank (Marie) Recher, and Louis (Elisabeth) Recher. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Recher; sister, Betty Perry; niece and God-daughter, Megan Whelpley; brother-in-law, Brian Laffey. Friends will be received 4-7 pm, Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am on January 4th  at Assumption Catholic Church, 30 Lockwood St., Geneva. Final Resting Place will be Harpersfield Cemetery on Rt 307.
