Christine Elizabeth Pestello, age 48, of Madison, Ohio passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at the Cleveland Clinic due to complications from a kidney transplant. She was born February 9, 1968 in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of Charles and Alvira (Wilcox) Prine. She married Christopher Pestello in Elkhart, Indiana on May 20, 1989. Christine graduated from Jefferson High School in 1986 and Southwest Michigan College in 1993. She was a registered nurse working at the Beachwood Surgcenter Cleveland. She enjoyed animals and outdoor activities. She could always find bargains when shopping and liked the rush of Black Friday fun. She loved family activities, traveling, movies and music. Despite her health challenges, she had a thirst for life, and was always positive, even when she didn't feel well. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Christopher; mother, Alvira "Willie" Prine; brothers, Tim (Becky) Prine, Jack (Yvonne) Prine, James (Maria) Prine, Charles (Michelle) Prine; in-laws, John and Sandy Garbutt; brothers-in-law, Michael (Tammy) Pestello; John (Linda) Garbutt, Jr.; sister-in-law, Laurie (Allan) Polasko; many loved nieces and nephews, and many dear friends and acquaintances along the way. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Prine. Friends will be received 10 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. A Funeral Service will be held immediately following at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Final Resting Place will be East Trumbull Cemetery, Trumbull Township, Ohio.   1. Willie —- I am so sorry you must deal with the loss of your daughter ! No deeper pain is there! Knowing we will see our children again in the Kingdom is such peace which comes to us!! No words can explain the pain due to the depth of sorrow which is felt at this time— Our God is good and she is healed now for she earned her wings!! You and yours are in my prayers during this most very difficult time! Keep the faith & know though it's such a struggle now— God's plan unfolded and Chrstine served Christ well & peace HE has now given her & carries you and your family in this time!!
