Christina Marie Nieves

Christina Marie Nieves, age 26 of Geneva, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the Cleveland Clinic. Born September 4, 1988 she was the daughter of Abimael Nieves Rivera and Cynthia Nieves. A 2006 graduate of Geneva High School Christina worked as an aid at Carol's Corner in Geneva. She moved back to Ohio from Palm Springs, FL longing for the country life and 4 wheeling. She had a feisty personality with a giving heart and was always there to lend a hand to those in need. Most of all she loved spending time with her daughter and best friend Leah. Christina is survived by her daughter: Leah Marie Weeks; her father Abimael Nieves Rivera of Ashtabula; mother Cynthia Nieves of Palm Springs, FL; brothers: Anthony and Billy Nieves; grandmother: Fay Doris (Angel) Matos of Geneva and grandfather Florencio Nieves Santiago of Palm Springs, FL Friends will be received from 3:00 to 6:00pm on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway in Geneva. Funeral Service will be at 11:00am on Monday, December 1, 2014 at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva. Contributions may be made to the family.
