Charlotte P. Taylor

Charlotte P. Taylor, 84, of Windsor, Ohio, passed away Monday, September 27, 2010 at home. She was born February 12, 1926 in Painesville, to Helen (Phillips) & Fred Ellis and married William E Taylor on July 30, 1950. She was a teacher and was the valedictorian of the class of 1944 at Madison High School and a 1950 graduate of Mt. Union College. She was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church in Sebring and a member of the Eastern Star. She also was a lifetime member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association. She enjoyed time spent at the Geauga Senior Center where she was a member of the Hilltoppers Bridge Club. Survivors include son, Richard Taylor of Columbus, OH; daughters, Kathleen Vernon of WA, Elizabeth Evans of Missouri, Pam Dorrough of California, Rachel Wilson of Windsor, OH; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and brother, Fred Ellis of Athens, OH She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Dorothy McNickle; brothers, Frank & John Ellis. Friends will be received 6-8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Thursday, September 30, 2010, at the funeral home . Final Resting Place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
