Charles W. White Age 91 Lived in Cleveland for many years before moving to Ashtabula in 2005 Ended his earthly journey on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, in Ashtabula. Born April 19, 1917 in Cleveland, OH Occupation: Firefighter for 42 years for City of Cleveland, retiring as a fire inspector in 1979 Memberships and Affiliations: Graduate of John Adams High School. He also operated J.L. Fire Equipment Co. He was an avid reader. He is survived by Dear wife, Betty McMillan of Indiana 3 Sons: ?Bud? Charles M. & Patty White of Geneva Jack & Nancy White of Minnesota Tom & Nettie White of Vermilion Daughter: Margaret Smith of Geneva 8 Grandchildren: Lou (Donna) von Bruening Dean (Peggy) Smith Yvonne, Stephanie, Jonathan, Melissa and, Jennifer White Vicki (Jack) Maynard 4 Great Grandsons: Jay and Carter Smith Grayson and Nolan von Bruening Preceded in Death by: 1st Wife, Marie J. (Patton) White in 1985 Friends will be received 10-11:00 am Saturday, February 28, 2009, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Memorial Service will be follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Rev. Paula Marbury of the East Conneaut Methodist Church will be officiating.
