Charles Ray Chuck Dixon, age 78, of Geneva, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. He was born June 23, 1939 in Painesville, the son of Arthur M. and Evelyn Grace (Harmon) Dixon. He married Neil Anne Akehurst November 5, 1960 in Madison. Chuck was a 1958 graduate of Geneva High School. He worked for R.W. Sidley for 37 years retiring in 2003. Chuck loved motorcycles and enjoyed racing cars, motorcycles and go-carts at several local tracks. Always there to lend a helping hand he could fix anything for his friends and family. Chuck truly enjoyed time spent with his family and was proud of his children and grandchildren. He was a member of St. Annes Anglican Church. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Neil; children, Arthur (Debra) Dixon, Thomas (Mary) Dixon, Natalie Dixon; grandchildren, Amy (Kasey) Smith, Morgan Dixon, Charlie Dixon, Parker Dixon; great-grandchildren, Kaley, Alice, Kes; sisters, Nancy (Ed) Dowgialo, Sally (Richard) Childs; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Dixon; mother, Evelyn Davis; and stepfather, Francis Davis. There will be a visitation from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at St. Annes Anglican Church located at Cornerstone Friends Church, 2300 Hubbard Road, Madison, Ohio. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 Noon at the church. Final Resting Place will be Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Chuck's name to St. Anne's Anglican Church. The Behm Family Funeral Home of Geneva is assisting the family at this time. Family was very dear to him, My brother when he was sick really enjoyed the many visits Chuck made to him. Both their deaths were within a year and I miss them both. I so enjoyed my visit with him at my brothers memorial
