Charles ?Keith? Castle, Jr., Age 56, resident of Ashtabula, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at University Hospitals of Cleveland. Born May 7, 1954 in Geneva, to Gyla L. (Stern) & Charles K. Castle, Sr. Keith was employed as a steam engineer at the Painesville Power Plant. Previously, he worked for Lubrizol in Painesville. Earlier, he also worked for several years as a deputy sheriff in Ashtabula County. He was the managing editor of Sports Jam Magazine and was known for his sports talk radio show at WKKY in Geneva. He had a knack for comedy and self-expression and he enjoyed acting in plays at the Ashtabula Arts Center. He loved spending time with his family. He is survived by Wife of 26 years, Lisa Castle of Ashtabula, OH; daughter, Laura Castle of New York, NY; son, Brian Castle of Houston, TX; Sister, Maryse Schroeder of Beverly Hills, FL; Brother, David S. Castle of Citrus Hills, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received 6-8:00 pm, Friday, June 4, 2010, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Private family services will be observed. Final Resting Place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.
