Sgt. Charles J. Keller, Jr. age 64 of Grand River, passed away in Medina, OH on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Born June 30, 1950 in Cleveland, he was the son of Betty Jane (Matson) & Charles Jacob Keller, Sr. He married Cindy Manley on October 23, 2004 in Claridon, OH.
Charlie was a 1968 graduate of Berkshire High School. He proudly served in the Army 101st Airborne during Vietnam and was a member of American Legion Jay Wilson Post 112. Charlie loved his friends and family, riding motorcycles, hotrods and attending classic car shows. He also loved his beloved dog Bubba and his two cats Rascal and Mew-Mew, fishing, golfing and following the Indians and Browns. Charlie also enjoyed traveling and camping with his wife Cindy and their friends.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Keller of Grand River; his children, Heather McQuiston, Charles J. Keller III, Carrie, Darcy, Damion; mother, Betty Keller; sister, Kathleen (Frank) O'Malley; brother, William D. Keller and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles J. Keller, Sr.
Friends will be received 5-7 PM Monday, July 21, 2014 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057. Military honors for Charlie will take place at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
